Key Features - Housing Mix

The housing provision at Dunsfold Park will be privately funded by Dunsfold Park Ltd and will be diverse enough to cater for a wide range of needs as follows:

- Market affordable housing, a percentage of which will cater for first time buyers and shared ownership units

- Rental housing including affordable housing for low income families

- Housing for the elderly, ranging from independent to full care

- Housing suitable for those with disabilities and special needs

At the current time, the amount of each of the above housing types has yet to be finalised. However, it is anticipated that at least 6-700 units would be classed as affordable housing of all types.

Dunsfold Park Ltd would retain the rental and shared ownership housing in the affordable arena by maintaining it in private ownership, rather than disposing of it to other parties.

Sustainability

Regardless of the type of housing, all properties would be constructed to an EcoHomes excellent standard. All homes would be constructed with maximum energy efficiency and supplied with on-site green energy.

Design

The development will be designed by award-winning architects and will feature accommodation in a range of complementary but individual styles sympathetic to Dunsfold Park's setting. The aim is to create an exemplar of sustainable development at Dunsfold Aerodrome.
