As part of our consultation with local people we held two public exhibitions in 2006 and a series of ongoing meetings with local residents and other interest groups. Large numbers of people have participated in this process providing us with useful and constructive feedback on our design proposals.

As part of the consultation process we want to hear all your views and appreciate that not all people are in support of our proposals for the future of the site. However, we can only respond to issues or local problems with individuals or groups who are willing to engage with us directly and discuss their concerns in an objective manner. The consultation process is ongoing, and we are happy to listen to any further comments and will try to answer questions raised by the masterplan proposals."
